About Templar's Choice
The family cider firm started off in the Vale of Berkeley, Gloucestershire in 1969, then Adam & Anne 1991 purchased a beautiful farm in Pays D’Auge, Normandie, right next to the world famous parish of Camembert. They replanted 27 acres with traditional cider apples on southern facing slopes. Their farm is well known for it’s quality of champagne cider and Calvados, and has, in the past, been a knights templar and then hospitallers of St John manor farm. Adam is a master cider maker and has also been making perry (cider pear cider) for 40 years, he started helping his Dad with the cider on Saturday mornings when he was twelve. The farm has untreated orchards and pastues that give an abundance of flora and fauna.
